Agency: CALIFORNIA COUNCIL OF THE BLIND (CCB)

Description

Provides no-interest loans and financial scholarships to legally blind college and vocational students. Scholarships are granted in two parts upon receipt of proof of enrollment and final grades for each term. Awards will be granted on the basis of academic scholarship and other factors.

Eligibility

Open to full time college and vocational students with visual impairments. Students must be registered for at least 12 semester/8 quarter units for each term of the entire academic year or 9 semester/6 quarter units each term for graduate students. Eligibility and final award of financial assistance is determined by committee review of application materials.
