Offers technical assistance to parents and professionals on state and federally mandated special education rights and services.
Represents children with disabilities and their parents by attorney and non-attorney advocates. Provides representation at Individual Education Program (IEP) meetings, mediations, and due process fair hearings.
Offers trainings and seminars to students, parents, and education professionals on special education rights and services. Provides a handbook on special education rights.
Eligibility
Children from birth to 22 years of age in need of special education services or anyone in need of assistance with special education services
