Agency: BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF SONOMA VALLEY

Description

Provides a wide range of daily recreational, cultural, and educational activities to youth. Offers local clubs with programs in five core areas:

  • The Arts - includes fine arts, photography, pottery, and music
  • Character and Leadership Development - includes community involvement, listening skills, and conflict resolution
  • Education and Career Development - includes PowerHour (daily homework time), Future Focus (job shadowing), and technology-based reading programs.
  • Health and Life Skills - includes personal goal setting, cooking camps, and healthy lifestyle education
  • Sports, Fitness, and Recreation - includes athletic leagues, intramural sports and yoga
